Loving Jesus,
Loving Others,
Making Christ Know!
January 1st, we rocked with the Go Fish Guys in our new room on the second floor.
It is awesome !!! A new 40 inch TV mounted on the wall and making little “me-
Then on January 8th, we went to basic training (actually we watched the “U.S.
Army basic training video) and then Tommy and Brother Danny came in and put our kids
through “calisthenics”. This was all to go along with our theme of “Being in the
Army of the Lord” – based on the verse in Ephesians 6 “ Finally, be strong in the
Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take
your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this
dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore
put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able

Then on January 15th, Arielle reminded us how to use our shields (God’s word) in the Army of the Lord, we had a battle using paper balls and bubbles. We also talked about how we are part of the church. We then rocked out
with Father Abraham – hip hop style and rocked it with the Go Fish Guys, Kickin’ It Old School.
Sunday the 22nd, we talked about the values in the army and how we can apply these to our Christian life. We also practiced the song, that we will be singing on the 29th. So see what you’ve been missing !! Next month we are going to talk about Christ – the Solid Rock, and with Arielle and I in charge you never know what will happen !!
Love ya,
