Patch the Pirate Club  

Starting the second Sunday in January during Children's Church our children will start a new program. They will join the Patch the Pirate Club.

Patch the Pirate Club is an unique children's study and choir program. Based upon music written by Ron and Shelly Hamilton, the program has been used successfully in churches, schools, and home schools since 1984. Each month the club emphasizes a new godly character lesson taught through songs, stories, Bible lessons, music lessons, activity pages, daily devotions, and performances. Patch the Pirate Club provides opportunities for children to grow spiritually while developing musically. It's a great club for character-building fun!

Basic Elements

Daily Devotions: included for every day of the week. These devotionals are suitable for both private and family quiet times. Music Theory: basic theory presented in a fun and educational way. Vocal Instruction: taught through proper singing techniques and performance.Godly Character Lesson: emphasized throughout the curriculum, from singing the words of the song to completing a fun page. Service Opportunities: provided through monthly speaking and singing performances and application of the Bible lessons. Fun and Games: included to increase the enjoyment of the entire learning experience. Incentives: included to motivate accomplishment and to reward achievement.

Our children are the future. At Eastside Baptist Church we put our hearts into our children by teaching them about Christ and His great love for them. Our mission is helping our kids to grow in their love for Jesus, to help them know Him better, and to teach them His word in a loving and fun atmosphere. We have many classes broken down by age group so they are with other children their own age. We have a wonderful staff of teachers that love children and are dedicated  to teaching them about Jesus. 

 Classes are held ever Wednesday night @6:45 p.m. Come learn about Jesus in a fun way. We have group time, stories, games, and a whole lot more! Classes for all ages are available. 

 

In Sunday School!  Our children's Sunday School starts at 9:45 a.m.  Parents bring your kids. We have a wonderful program with great teachers who make learning Gods Word a joy. There are classes available for all age groups. 

 
At Eastside Baptist Church we take great joy in helping others with outside missions by teaching others about Christ. Our children are a great part of that. 
 
We have a new childrens Church every Sunday morning.  All the kids meet in the front of the church ith a special message, then are off to the kids worship room where they sing and learn Gods word on their level.  It's a wonderful time for the kids.  Please come and learn ore about our childrens church.
 
 Volunteers are always needed to help out with our children's ministry. If you are looking for ways to give back, and you want to make a difference in someones lives, look to a child.  Blessed are the children.
